Henry Parkes
He was the father of…um what was it?…feda-wha?, oh federation. Henry parkes was a kind man here is a quote that was probably the most powerful sentence in his speech ;

sir Henry parkes was the premier of new south wales in 1888, and bragged he could get the colonies of Australia to federate in the time of 12 months or a YEAR. the following day the speech was published into the “Sydney morning herald”.
WHAT IS MY NAME WORTH?
Hi guys whats up?
today i will show you i have been working on in maths…
we (my class) have been using a code to see how much our names are worth, my name is worth $5.59. The only person whose name was nearly as expensive as my name was josh with a name worth $5.65 with only 6 cents more than me. The most expensive teacher of the 3 teachers i chose to figure out was Mrs Rathbone. My little brother was $6.09 and was the most expensive of my siblings. We also had to chose 2 of our pets to compare and my chicken pepper pots (named after iron man`s assistant) who was $3.46.
see ya next time guys !
Factual Federation, Fabulous First fleet and colossal colonies
Federation, Colonies and the First fleet New south wales was our first colony and before federation all colonies were governed separately, Queensland had two colonies which were of course governed separately. in the time of the first fleet, which in total had eleven ships and there was around seven hundred and fifty convicts. Modern Australia begun as a giant prison for English convicts/criminals. the first fleet was commanded by captain cook from the English colonies.
how did we get our name? Mathew Flinders sailed around the coastline of New Holland (Australia) and added the name Australia, he got this name from the Latin term “Terre australis ignote” which means “unknown southern land”
Travel if you wished to travel by train from Victoria to New south wales, one the tracks were different sizes so you had to get off the train, two you had to have a passport like licence to get over the barrier in to other colonies, and three you have to have MONEY!,CASH, CHA- CHING *gasp*.
squabbling colony catastrophe
what is happening in Australia in the 1800s ?
In the 1800s the British settlers grew and expanded into many Australian colonies. These colonies are known as New South Wales, Tasmania, Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and Queensland. Though they were all crammed into the same continent (country and island) the colonies acted like separate countries and competed for who was better. If the colonies worked together and built roads and train tracks so people could go from colony to colony within few days without having to stop mabe they could share power. Changing trains because the tracks were different sizes was quite hard because you had to have a special licence to ride on into the other colonies and you had to pay big hard-to-get money.
thanks for reading this information I have collected
see ya next time (:
